Sounds or videos stopping unexpectedly
If your sounds stop unexpectedly, it may be due to your device's battery optimization settings. Many Android devices close background apps to save battery, which can interrupt sound playback or sleep tracking. To fix this, adjust the battery optimization settings for Tingles ASMR. Why can't I turn my phone screen off while playing videos?
Tingles ASMR strictly adheres to YouTube's policies, which do not allow video background playback — this feature is exclusive to YouTube Premium. However, both mixes and podcasts in Tingles ASMR fully support screen-off playback. You can enjoy audio content with your screen turned off, making them perfect for falling asleep.
How do I use the video loop feature?
The video loop feature lets you repeat your favorite section of any video continuously:
  1. Open any video and tap the Loop button at the top right corner of the player.
  2. Use the slider to select the start and end points of the section you want to loop.
  3. Tap Start Loop to begin looping the selected section.
  4. To cancel, tap the Loop button again and select Cancel.
Note: This is a premium feature.
Can I request to add an ASMR artist I like?
Absolutely! We're always open to suggestions. If there's an artist you'd love to see added to Tingles ASMR, let us know using the Send Feedback button in the app (Settings > Send Feedback), or email us directly at hello@asmrpress.com.
App crashes when trying to sign in
Some users experience sign-in issues on Android devices that don't have a default web browser installed, or where the browser has been disabled by parental controls. To fix this, install or enable Chrome, Firefox, or any web browser from the Google Play Store, then try signing in again.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
On iOS: Open the Settings app > tap your name > Subscriptions > Tingles ASMR. From here you can change your plan or cancel. On Android: Open the Google Play Store > tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Tingles ASMR. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll continue to have premium access until then.
Is Tingles ASMR really free?
Yes! All content in Tingles ASMR — videos, podcasts, sounds, mixes, playlists, and community features — is completely free with no ads, ever. We offer an optional Tingles ASMR Pro subscription that unlocks premium features like Sleep Mode and Smart Mix, but the core experience is and always will be free.
